Ubisoft opens PC early access for The Division Resurgence

Ubisoft has quietly launched PC early access for The Division Resurgence through the Ubisoft Store after its mobile debut earlier this year.
PC rollout starts quietly
Ubisoft has quietly opened early access for The Division Resurgence on PC, expanding the free-to-play shooter after its mobile launch in March.
The new PC listing is now live on the Ubisoft Store, with availability dated April 28, 2026. Ubisoft had not yet made a formal announcement at the time the store page went up.
Mobile game moves to desktop
Resurgence was originally built for mobile and spent a long time in the pipeline before finally releasing last month. The PC version gives Ubisoft a wider shot at players who may prefer mouse-and-keyboard controls or a bigger screen.
The game keeps its core pitch on PC:
- Free-to-play RPG shooter structure
- Tactical combat
- Solo play or co-op with friends
- Early access availability starting now
What stands out
The unusual part is the rollout itself. A store launch without a matching announcement suggests Ubisoft may be testing interest first, or preparing a broader reveal after the page went live.
It also shows Ubisoft pushing The Division brand across more platforms, even for a game that started as a mobile-first project.
