Crimson Desert Surges Past 5 Million Sales in Weeks
Pearl Abyss says Crimson Desert has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide in under a month, keeping up strong momentum across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Crimson Desert keeps climbing
Pearl Abyss says Crimson Desert has now sold more than five million copies worldwide, less than a month after launch.
The open-world action adventure game released on March 19 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Fast start, bigger milestone
The new sales mark extends what has been a very fast opening for one of 2026's biggest game launches so far.
- 2 million copies sold after one day
- 3 million by March 24
- 4 million by March 31
- 5 million now confirmed in mid-April
That pace suggests the game kept up strong momentum beyond launch week instead of fading after its initial burst.
Pearl Abyss gets a major hit
For Pearl Abyss, the milestone gives the company a breakout premium release at a much bigger scale. The studio thanked players, calling them "Greymanes", and said the five million figure would not have happened without community support.
Crimson Desert is set in the world of Pywel and has quickly become one of the standout commercial successes across console and PC this spring.
