Disney pulls 15 more games from Steam without warning
Disney has removed 15 more games from Steam, bringing this year’s total to 29. Several classic Star Wars titles are among the delisted releases.
Another quiet Steam cull
Disney has quietly delisted 15 more games from Steam, pushing the total removed this year to 29 with no public explanation.
The latest batch was spotted via SteamDB, and it includes a mix of older Disney games, movie tie-ins, and a couple of classic Star Wars PC releases.
Classic Star Wars games hit too
The newly removed titles include:
- Bolt
- Chicken Little
- Disney Alice in Wonderland
- Disney G-Force
- Disney Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
- Disney Pixar Brave: The Video Game
- Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure
- Disney Tangled
- Disney Universe
- Disney’s Treasure Planet: Battle of Procyon
- High School Musical 3
- Outlaws: A Handful of Missions (Classic, 1997)
- Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier
- STAR WARS Dark Forces (Classic, 1995)
- STAR WARS Rebellion
No warning, no reason
Disney already removed 14 games from Steam back in January. This new wave follows the same pattern: no notice to players, no statement from Disney, and no comment from Valve.
That leaves fans guessing. Delistings usually happen because of expired licenses, older publishing deals, or rights issues, but that remains unconfirmed here.
What players can still do
Players who already bought these games can still download and play them from their libraries. The bigger problem is for anyone who did not own them yet, because they can no longer buy them on Steam.
There is one small exception for fans of old LucasArts releases. While the original Dark Forces listing is gone, the newer remastered version is still available on Steam.
